2020-06-12 由SCC成立的智慧城市學院(SCA)， 聯同香港工程師學會和IVE 工程學科於6月11日晚上6-8時舉辦「智慧城市的未來發展」 網上研討會，內容如下： SCC空間數據基礎設施委員會主席鄧兆星博士講述「香港智慧城市規劃」 機電工程署高級工程師陳賀賢先生講述「物聯網應用和LoRa網絡」 香港專業教育學院副學術總監劉慶強博士講述「5G及智慧城市」 研討會討論環節由香港工程師學會電子工程專業界別主席及智慧城市聯盟副會長郭偉信先生主持。
